I met Ray on our street as he went for his daily walk. We also chatted some mornings at Starbucks. I will miss his kind, gentle manner and interesting conversation. Our deepest sympathy to you, Allison, and your children and grandchildren.
Your neighbours, Shannon McRae and family.

I met Ray in front of our house and his gentleness was apparent right away.
I will miss seeing him around, not having had a chance to know him better in the short time our paths crossed.
Our deepest sympathy to his wife children and grand-children

I met Raymond when I moved to Vancouver in May '07 to work for VANOC. Raymond was our landlord at 1220 east 2nd Ave. and I immediately liked him. he was an honourable, honest and very likeable man.

Always a happy man, Ray was a true gentleman. Whenever I'd come in to Yen Brothers, he'd make a point to stop and chat. Sincerest condolences to the entire Yen family.
