Phoenix - Rebecca "Becky" Bassoni, beloved wife, mother, sister, and stepmother, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2023, in Phoenix, Arizona. She was born on April 30, 1948, in Kearney, Nebraska. Becky, known for her infectious laugh and being the life of the party, will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Becky had a diverse and fulfilling career. She began as a grade school teacher in Sacramento and then became a California realtor before pursuing her passions of interior design and antique dealing in Arizona. She began as a Realtor in California before pursuing her passion for interior design and antique dealing in Arizona. Her creative and artistic nature shone through in her work, leaving a lasting impact on those who experienced her designs.

Outside of her professional life, Becky had a variety of interests and hobbies. She enjoyed antiquing with her late husband, David, and cherished the moments spent snuggling her beloved dog, Precious. She was also a proud member of the Daughters of the Nile and P.E.O.

Becky's memory will be forever treasured by her surviving family members, including her son and daughter-in-law, Elisa and John Eckel, her sister-in-law and brother, Louise and Dan Soterin, and her stepdaughter and son-in-law, George and Janelle Cox. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Bassoni, her mother, Ruth Soterin, and her father, Lloyd Soterin.

Becky's educational journey led her to Hastings College, where she further developed her knowledge and skills. She valued education and the opportunities it provided throughout her life.

Becky found solace and community at the Tempe First United Methodist Church, where she worshipped and celebrated her faith.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Becky's honor to P.E.O International, an organization she held close to her heart. Donations can be made online at https://www.peointernational.org/.

Becky's vibrant spirit and love for life will be remembered by all who knew her. Her legacy of creativity, laughter, and compassion will continue to inspire those whose lives she touched.
