Rebecca Ann Fink

Phoenix - Rebecca Ann Fink, known to her family and friends simply as "Becky", departed this life in early March due to natural causes. She had been a resident of Phoenix since 1970.

Born in Buffalo, New York in 1960, Becky was the third child of Charles and Majorie Fink. Her father moved the family to Dallas, Texas in 1961 to join a new company. In 1962 her sister Heidi was born and the two bonded for life until Heidi's death in 2016. In 1963 the family moved to Houston where Becky met her lifelong friends, Debbie, Tammy, and Eddie Weatherford. In 1970, at age 10, the family moved to Phoenix so her father could start his own company. Phoenix became her true home for the next 53 years.

After graduating from Shadow Mountain High, Becky started a career as an executive assistant until, like her father, decided to start her own business as a massage therapist. Part of her business included providing services at Luke Airforce Base where she found pride in contributing to the wellness of this country's defenders.

Becky was also involved in helping others. She was a member of P.E.O, the women's philanthropic organization created in 1869 to promote women's education through scholarships. She also extended her time to her friend Christina who had two children, Toni, and Darrell. All three remained Becky's lifelong friends. She was also a supporter of the Phoenix Zoo, assisting her mother with fundraising.

Becky is survived by her sister Marcella, brother Michael, nephews and nieces, Matthew, Andrew, Paula, Celeste, great nephew Marco, and great niece Adeline.

Please join the family for a Celebration of Life, on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Messinger Mortuary, 7601 E. Indian School Road, Scottsdale, Arizona between 10:00 and Noon. Refreshments will be served. In lieu of flowers we ask for donations in her memory for either the P.E.O. Arizona chapter or the Phoenix Zoo.
