Age 41 passed away peacefully surrounded with love by her family on August 21, 2023. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 25, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, Michigan with Rev. Dr. Joseph Novak officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5:00-9:00 pm Thursday, August 24, 2023 and on Friday, August 25, 2023 from 11:00 am until the time of service. Rebecca Jordin Kennedy was born July 27, 1982 in Flint, Michigan to R. Scott and Deborah S. (Gajda) Kennedy. She graduated from Swartz Creek High School excelling at cheerleading, gymnastics, and never meeting a stranger. She married Matthew Mark Hawrylo on October 11, 2014. Becky was a devoted wife and mother, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She was the ultimate hostess for loved ones - and a master at blending the lines of family and friends. She loved to travel, craft, and honor her Hungarian and Scottish heritage. Her favorite place to be was surrounded by loved ones. She is survived by her husband, Matthew; daughter, Brynn; son, Noah; parents, Scott and Debbie Kennedy; brother, Rev. Josh (Stacey) Kennedy; grandparents, Eugene and Betty Dipzinski; Aunt Shellie (Jim) Schocke; cousins Jon Schocke, Mila (Floyd) Forrest; nephew Jamie Forrest; Aunt Leslie Wheaton; Aunt Courtney (Scott) Morgan; two brothers in law, Luke Hawrylo and Mark Hawrylo II; four nieces, Audrey, Evelyn, Hope, and Ariel; lifelong friend and sister, Annie; fur babies, Marbles, Midnight, Maize.
