Rebecca Anne Stoeckel, known to many as Becky, a devoted mother, passionate small business owner, and engaged community member, passed away on her 62nd birthday, March 28, 2025, in Fairfax, Virginia.

Born in Washington, D.C., on March 28, 1963, Rebecca lived a life marked by compassion, intelligence, and an unwavering commitment to the people and causes she cared about. For 35 years, she owned and operated Executive Press Inc., a trusted printing business located in Old Town Fairfax. As an entrepreneur, she ran her business with determination and heart, earning the respect and admiration of her clients and peers. Outside of work, she was deeply involved in local politics, always striving to make her community a better place.

Rebecca had a lifelong love for science fiction and animals, and she was known for her sharp wit, big heart, and generosity. She was someone who showed up for others-whether through her activism, her business, or simply being a source of support to those around her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Matthew Stoeckel; her daughter and son-in-law, Brandyce Stoeckel and Luis Alzugaray; her son, Zachary Stoeckel; her grandchildren, Lucas Stoeckel and Alexia Lehman; her mother, Patricia Jenkins; and her sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Kevin Hildebeidel.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, April 13, at twelve o'clock at the PJ Skidoos banquet hall, 9908 Fairfax Blvd, Fairfax, VA 22030.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Rebecca's memory to the Fairfax County Animal Shelter or the ASPCA, two causes she cared deeply about.
