School and hospital representatives joined the family of eight-year-old Trevor Reece Clarke, of Lansbury Drive, South Normanton, for the service at St Michael's Church, South Normanton, which preceded cremation at Mansfield.
Trevor, who had been a local resident all his life, loved attending the Glebe School, South Normanton, socialising with his friends and family, watching DVDs and going on holiday.
Trevor, who died at Queen's Medical Centre, Nottingham, leaves his parents, Mr and Mrs P. Clarke of the same address, sister Emily, one grandfather, one grandmother and two great-grandfathers.
