Reed Lawrence Stewart, 21, passed away suddenly, Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012, at his home. He was born Aug. 15, 1990, in Evanston, and was a 2008 graduate of Libertyville High School, where he was a member of the gymnastics team. Reed was most recently attending Pellissippi State Community College in Knoxville, Tenn., and was home visiting for the weekend. He enjoyed gymnastics, snowboarding and skateboarding. Surviving are his parents, John and Cindy Stewart and his brothers, Chas and Trey, all of Libertyville; his grandparents, Joan Stewart, and Carla and Joe Marcrum, all of Memphis, Tenn.; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert James Stewart Sr. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until time of services at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 26, at The Chapel, 1200 American Way, Libertyville. Interment will be in Tennessee. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family for a fund for the learning disabled at Libertyville High School.
