Reginald GuthrieRetired  PHILADELPHIA — Services for Reginald "R.O." Guthrie will be held today at 3 p.m. at Linwood Baptist Church in Neshoba County with the  Revs. Lin Chesney, Mike Skinner, and Tommy Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.   Mr. Guthrie, 94, died Thursday, Sept.11, 2008, at the Neshoba County Nursing Home.  He was born and raised in the Coldwater Community of Neshoba County and made his home in the Linwood Community most of his adult life. He was a member and deacon of Linwood Baptist Church. He was the retired owner and operator of Guthrie T.V.,  Appliance Repair and Sales Shop.  Survivors include his wife, Mary Lee Guthrie of Union; daughters, Glenda Russell and her husband, Horace, of Little Rock, and Barbara Lynn McMillan and her husband, Tommy, of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Cindy Travis of Mandeville, La., Cappy Haggard of Philadelphia, Greg Donald of Union, Mark Guthrie of Hattiesburg, Justin McMillan of Philadelphia, and Jason Guthrie of Jackson; 13 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Maedell White and Odessa Clark both of Philadelphia. He was preceded in death by a son, Ronnie Guthrie.  Pallbearers will be Harry McKinion, Henry McKinion, Greg Donald, Mark Guthrie, Jason Guthrie, Justin McMillan, and Randy Clark.  Honorary pallbearers will be the deacons of Linwood Baptist Church.
