The family of Reid Burnett,
We are very saddened by the unexpected and very sudden death of your father and grandfather, Reid.
We are not family by blood relation..however, my family, the Harold Smith family, of Winnipeg, Manitoba spent many happy times with the Harvey Burnett family. We shared Christmases and many other "family" times together. Because of this we felt we were "chosen" cousins.
My husband and I have just returned from a holiday in Mexico and spoke, on a walk on the beach, of having your Dad to Qualicum now that our home renovations have been completed. Unfortunately that opportunity did not arise. Your Aunt "Sis" called us with the devastating news on Thursday evening passed.
Please know of our heartfelt condolences as we all mourn your father's passing. We always had fun times when we spoke or saw your Dad. Jacquie and Greg Slocombe..Qualicum Beach, B.C. (Your aunt has our contact information).
