Reitta Trueman

TRUEMAN, Reitta Lilian Marie November 6, 1925 - February 19, 2009 On February 19, 2009 at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, Reitta Trueman suddenly passed on to her heavenly home. She will be lovingly remembered and will be deeply missed by her husband of 61 years, Alex; five sons and one daughter - Terry, Jim (Judy), Bruce (Esther), Ken (Colleen), Christine (Glen) and Paul (Linda); thirteen grandchildren, Denise, Keith (Moon), Mark, Michael, Robbie, Jeremy, Julia, Jason, Laura, Kyle, Reitta, Jake and Sean; six great-grandchildren, Brianna, Lindsey, Brock, Damian, Nathan and Justin. She is also survived by one sister, Margaret. Reitta was predeceased by her son Mark David and her sisters, Clara and Phyllis. Reitta maintained a very strong spirit in a weak body towards the end of her life thanks to her faith in an eternal, loving Father. Family invites relatives and friends to a Celebration of Reitta's Life, at Northwest Pentecostal Assembly, 9949 - 169 Avenue, on Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at 2:00 p.m.; with Reverend Dr. George Feller officiating. If desired, friends may pay respects one hour prior to service. Interment will follow at St. Albert Municipal Cemetery. Reitta's family would also like to acknowledge and express thanks for the caring and compassionate care she received from the health care staff at Kensington Village during her time there.
