I was very sorry to hear of the passing of Reles. My Dad Baldy Baldwin and myself had a lot of good times boat racing with Reles. We were lost looking for the directions to a race course in 1966. As beginners, we didn' know all the race courses. We spotted Reles' yellow boats and trailer and followed him to the pits. We ended up pitting very close to him, and became friends that very first day. I will miss him much, but God loves boat racers and Joe Rome and I will keep his memory alive down in our pits. Ricky, God bless you and your family.

Deepest sympathy to the Leblanc family. I sure recall the great times we had. Rules will live on in our memories. Sure some nice pictures that return so many memories! A highlight for me was getting to see Ricky in Alexandria at the races. He would ditch Louis and come hang with us California guys. I hope we have the opportunity to see each other soon. With sincere condolences.

Reles was a very good role model for my husband, Joe Rome. Joe loved Reles very much. Reles shared his knowledge of boat racing with Joe when Joe was just a child. Joe has told me so many stories (escapades) about he and Reles and Louis Williams. What a trio!!Reles was a kind man and I am sending prayers for his family and my deepest sympanthy.

Ricky sorry for your loss. I'll always remember the sounds and the smell of the printing press. I was always fascinated by those racing boats too. I picture Mr Reles playing some golf on the finest course ever. Jeff LeBlanc and Family (Delcambre)
