Remer was born on March 9, 1938 and passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2016. Remer was a resident of Macon, Georgia at the time of his passing. He attended Cochran High School where he played football and basketball. He attended Middle Georgia College. Mr. Daniel earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Georgia in 1961 where he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity and thereafter graduated from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in 1965 with a Juris Doctor degree. He was married to Pam. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday January 22 2016 in the chapel of Hartâs at the Cupola 6324 Peake Road with the Reverend Chris Daniel and the Reverend John Kinser officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mercer University Athletic Foundation 1501 Mercer University Drive Macon Georgia 31207 or Pine Pointe Hospice 6261 Peake Road Macon Georgia 31210.

I had the privilege of being a class-mate with Remer and will miss him terribly. He was always kind and supportive and an example of being the quintessential "Southern Gentleman". I am so sorry to hear of Remer's passing. He was a fine gentleman and attorney. I worked at Martin, Snow in the mid 1980s and have fond memories of him. I'm keeping the family in my thoughts and prayers.
