Ms. Rena Pearl "Dack" Tarbet

Rena Pearl "Dack" Tarbet passed away in the comfort of her home on Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013. Service: 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, at The Hills Church of Christ in North Richland Hills. Box 1196, Colleyville, Texas 76034 or www.Therenatarbetfoundation.org. Rena was born in Comfort on March 29, 1943, to Kenneth and Iona Dack. She married the love of her life, Eddie, on July 1, 1960, and had three beautiful children. Rena was a national sales director for Mary Kay for 42 years. She was also a motivational speaker around the country and counseled cancer patients for 36 years. She was a cancer survivor, herself, for 38 years. She was a devoted member of The Hills Church of Christ for many years. Rena was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Donald. Survivors: She will be loved and missed by her husband, Eddie; children, Jeff and wife, Tracy Tarbet, Kim and husband, Edward West, and Brian and wife, Sandy Tarbet; 10 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; sister, Vera Rotge; and many loyal friends.
