Rene Villa Obituary
Rene was born in Falfurrias, Tx on December 8, 1939 to Gilberto Villa & Bessie Williams Villa.
Rene went on to marry Lydia Garcia on December 29, 1957.
During their 66 years of marriage, they had a service station in Falfurrias, Tx. Afterwards together they had a farm and dairy in Sejita, Tx. They later lived in Falfurrias, Tx where he was known for selling cabritos.
Preceded in death by his Parents Gilberto & Bessie Villa
His Brothers Lamar Villa, Lee Villa and Pasqual Villa, Sr. His Sisters Ernestina Almorejo, Juventina Gonzalez and Daughter-in-law Nora Z. Villa.
Rene is survived by his Wife, Lydia G. Villa of Falfurrias, Tx, Three Children Lamar "Sonny" (Lisette) Villa, Leticia (Arturo) Galvan of Falfurrias, Tx, Frank "Pancho" Villa of Seguin, Tx. His Brother Ruben Villa of Realitos, Tx and His Sisters Dolores (Gilberto) Mireles of Corpus Christi, Tx, Carmela (Israel) Trevino of Falfurrias, Tx and Elena Villa of San Antonio, Tx.
Eight Grandchildren: RD, TJ, Olivia, Mary, Samantha, Shelby, Eddie and Lamar. Fourteen Great Grandchildren and Four Great-Great Grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews and Numerous friends that called him grandpa.
A Rosary will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at 9:30 am at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias, Tx.
Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 am and Burial will follow at Falfurrias Burial Park.
Pallbearers: RD Villa, Jr, Matthew Villa, Evan Villa, Tyler Villa, Emmanuel Arevalo, SJ Vera, Joseph Pedroza, Isaiah Pedroza, Eddie Galvan II, Makenzie Sanger, Makennah Sanger.
