Revis Leon Starghill began his life’s journey on January 26, 1975 in Houston Texas at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was the third child born to Florence Baldwin Starghill and Billy Flowers. Revis was greatly adored and welcomed into the life and love of Lloyd Starghill Sr.
He found Christ at an early age and was a member of Mount Herman Missionary Baptist Church. Revis attended Houston Public Schools. He later went on to graduate from Houston Community College.
Revis married his childhood sweetheart in September of 1999. To this union three children were born.
He worked for Metro and KBR which allowed him to work in Iraq for five years. After returning to the states, Revis decided that he wanted to become a police officer. Upon completion of his training, he joined the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office and remained a diligent worker until his untimely passing.
He was a hard worker with a pleasing attitude that would make anyone feel full of joy. He loved his children, often being a father figure to many, including animals. He loved playing video games. He also loved basketball and was an avid Houston Rockets fan.
He was preceded in death by his father Billy Flowers and his godmother Wanda Faye Carroll.
Revis loved and treasured his family, friends and coworkers who will miss him dearly. His life, legacy and love will continue to be cherished by his wife, Caroline; his loving children Lea'Ancieia, Leona, and Lejuan; mother Florence Davis; father Lloyd Starghill Sr.; siblings Vanessa Warren, Lloyd Starghill Jr., Jimmy Brown, Perry Flowers and Dusty Flowers; grandmother Willie Mae Plummer; mother in law Leah Bryant; special friend Nancy Cruz and her son Ty whom he loved and accepted as his own; his Fort Bend County family, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was my friend, my brother, we met in Iraq working as contractors back in 2006. I lived in VA then, as I do now and he came to VA to visit me sometime last year. We talked about him coming back to the DC/VA area to hang out with me again and bringing another close friend Damian with him. I was excited to know when he got his very first house and he was proud of showing it to me. It was over the years we would discuss my prior service as a Virginia Sheriff Deputy and he always was interested in it, and I would like to believe that I pushed him a little into it. He made the decision to do what was necessary to become one and he did, they should be lucky. He even took a few shots on the job. I have been going through my own life changes this year and lost my phone and contact with my brother so for me to do a google search and learn that I am weeks past from speaking to him, hurts my heart terribly. But, if you are reading this Rev, you 'll be proud to know that I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Saviour and we will rap when I get there. Love you, bro. I will do all that I can to check on your son who I never met.
My deepest condolences to the Starghill family.

My Luv, you will be greatly missed here on earth and I know God had a better reason why he took you away from us before we was ready to say goodbye. I didn't know with being a Big Sister came with loving you so much and I'm grateful God allowed me to be. Rest on baby, until that day God cracks the sky and the angels will cry Holy, Holy, Holy and receive us, I'll be missing you.
