Rex Clark didn't know a stranger. He was always so excited to talk about Jesus with anyone that would listen.
I was missing him real bad and I heard him say: "I'm having the time of my life!" And he is because he now is with Jesus in the flesh. I'm sure his meeting with his mom at the Eastern Gates of heaven was a sight to behold! We all could learn so much from this man of God. His unbounding joy for everyone and especially for the Lord was amazing and what I will remember the most about him. Our prayers pour out for Mary Lou and Kevin. May the God of all comfort, comfort u and keep u in His perfect peace while u climb thru the valley of the shadow... Always love, Pat and Maysel

I remember Rex in his yard as I would drive by and stop and talk with him. He never knew a stranger and he was a great listener. When he spoke you felt the words. I am in shock to know of his passing but he is with all the angels. He is truly an inspiration and one of a kind. I will always remember him and will miss him dearly. RIP, Rex.

Mary, I am so sorry for your loss. I know that Rex would have us celebrating his passing into eternity with Christ. I don't think he could actually wear the crown Jesus has prepared for him; a jewel for every life he touched me included. I thank you for sharing him with us. Rex was truelly an Angel with a mission. Love and Prayers. May God wrap his loving arms around you and give you comfort and peace.

Today we say goodbye to one of the most amazing people to walk this earth, a hero of mine and the most selfless and Godly person I have ever met. Countless lives how been touched by your smile, your kind heart, and your love of life. It's never easy to say goodbye, but it comes easier knowing you are dancing with the angels. I am so thankful to have had you in my life. I will always be your girl Rexy, until next time.

I didn't know Rex very long, but the short time my husband and I knew him, he was a wonderful man, very caring and compassionate and a man of God. He came to the hospital and saw my husband before his heart surgery and came to the house and prayed for and with him for God's healing and never ending care. We went to church with Rex for a time until my husband couldn't physically attend. I will never forget Rex and I will always cherish the time we were able to spend with him. I know he is with God now and is happy and healthy. RIP Rex. you will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family for comfort and peace, knowing you are with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Mary, I cannot imagine your feelings of loss however we all know Rex is in the presence of our Lord. I expect he is getting some insight into how his life of obedience to God in making himself available to youth like me had years and years of impact on us and those we in turn have touched. Peace to you & Praise to Him.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Mary. What an impact Rex had on my life. I'm so glad to have been part of "his kids" at Liberty Towers. You both have changed many of us for the better.

He was an ornery little bugger in High School, but turned out to be a big part of our championship teams of 1950 and 1951.
He went to the Air Force, served honorably for 23 years and became a man of the cloth.
He was a small man with a big heart who found his calling with God.
Rest in peace my little friend!

Dear Mary I am so sorry for your loss and love you both very much. Rex was our Youth Pastor at NH Church of the Naz back in the early 70s So many times we'd spend alot of time at your home Mary. You were always so wonderful kind and giving to let us Teens invade your house so much! I so enjoyed our talks on the phone and his encouragement! I know He'd want me to pass this on. His 2 questions he loved to ask people and especially "his Kids" as he called us! How is God treating you, (insert your name) and then the more important one he said was HOW are YOU treating God>??? loved him! RIP Rex Clark one of the most Godly inspiring men that influenced my young life!!!! You will be missed! Love you Mary!

Mary, it is so hard to say good bye. Since 1989 You two have been part of our life. We will never forget the night Rex lead us down the Roman Road. We knew we,could knock on your door at any time. Rex was a bold witness, what a good time we had! We are going to miss his phone calls. God bless our Pastor Rex Clark. With much love, Gary & Teresa Simpson

I remember Rex's friendly, smiling face when he came to Bible Study Fellowship. It was clear that he loved the Lord and he loved God's Word. I am confident that his walk with Christ will have many reuniting with him in Heaven.

Dear Mary: What a shock to open our Naz News and learn of Rex's homegoing. It's just been a few weeks since he called and was so excited about his ongoing ministry there at the church. We will always remember his love for God and his dedication to service for Him. Both of you have been a joy to know and an inspiration to many. We will be lifting you in prayer and asking God to strengthen you for the days of adjustment ahead. At the same time we will rejoice knowing that Rex is now reminiscing with Jesus about what he's been doing in and for the Kingdom these many years. Our love and prayers are with you.
