Dear Ruth, Gina, Lesa, Rex II and family, today I was notified of Rex's passing. I am very sad. Never will I forget his generosity, kindness and humour when I visited you several years ago. Wishing you strength and peace, Gabi from Germany

To Ruth, Gina and Lisa, I'm so very sorry to just now have learned of Rex's passing. I live in Myrtle Beach, SC now, and wish I could have been there for the service.... He was always really nice to me when I was little, and would take time to talk to me at the mailbox, or when I would go over to the post office from my Dad's shop. It's hard to imagine anybody doing that nowadays in this hurry-up world we live in now... He was a super great guy, and I'm sure that I and everyone in Atkins will always remember his genuine friendliness, and leadership in the church and community. God bless you, and take care.

Ruth and Family: So sorry to read about your loss. It has been many years since we have been in contact with any of you but our hearts are always in Atkins. The friends we know and the times we shared are forever.
Rex was always there for anyone. The same no matter when you saw him. He will be missed.

Ruth,
I just found out about Rex and we are so sorry for your loss. This is a painful time for you and the kids but I know that you have comfort in knowing where he is. He's finally well and completely whole again. We will most certainly miss him. You and Rex have always been so special to me. We love you always.
