2012 has been a long time, often think of you and miss you much Brother. Sharing a set of photos taken in 1974 during a trip back to San Antonio from Los Angeles. One of many memories and adventures taken.

Rick and I were shipmates in the Philippines back in 1970-71, our first duty station. I last saw him in the late 1980's in San Diego, just briefly. He was a true friend, will always be remembered and sorely missed.

RIck was my CPO on board the uss reeves in japan, his character was of the highest, he taught me alot not just professionally but personally. we later met in 2008 in san diego onboard T-AKE 4. now that we are both retired and civilian its was like what when we first saw each other SHARING OLD STORIES FROM THE DAYS ON THE REEVES AND JAPAN.. yet rick still had that warm smile and enjoy life attitude. my friend you will be deeply missed.

I am so sorry to hear of Ricardo's passing. As is the case all too often those that we were close to in the Navy we lose touch with once we leave. I was stationed with Ricardo onboard USS Stump (DD-978). I will always remember Ric as a dedicated Chief and a great friend. I will keep Ric's memory alive in my thoughts. May God ease his family's grief during this difficult time.

Ricky, I wish I were there in San Antonio to give my condolences to your family. Like you did when Eddie passed away. I just found out today, and I know you will be deeply missed. I remember when you shared the book you were writing about the Brentwood crowd. Wow, memories are flashing through my mind, I don't think there was such a wonderful growing up experience as the Brentwood Kids had, not in this whole wide world.
