Ricardo Richard Munoz

Ricardo Richard Munoz of Premont TX passed away March 23, 2025 in Premont, TX he was 71. He was born to Jose Pepe Munoz Jr. and Minerva Garcia on November 2. 1953. He is preceded in death by his parents.

He worked countless years and was the owner of the Cattlemen Bar. He was a professional back hoe operator and worked for R.C. Allen which later turned into W.T. Lease Service in Premont, TX. He was well respected and loved and he loved his 4x4 black chevy truck. Ricardo loved to BBQ and spend time with his family. He worked hard for his family and provided a good life with only a 7th grade education. He was a very strong and supportive man. He was a great dad, husband, brother, wonderful grandfather, great grandfather and great great-grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Luz Divina Munoz of Premont, TX, one son, Ricardo "Rick" Munoz Jr., two daughters, Maricelda Lopez Garza (Martin) of Orange Grove and Carmen Lopez Pena (Audon Fritz Pena Jr.), 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 2 great greatgrandchildren, five sisters, Gilma Gonzalez (Ramiro), Leonora Mendez (the late Speedy Mendez), Ernestina "Tina" Garza (the late Gilbert Garza), Norma Saenz (Noe) of San Diego, Tx and Nora Munoz of San Diego, TX.

Pallbearers will be Noe Saenz Jr., Alfredo Villanueva, Rigo Munoz, Mateo Munoz, Rudy Ramos, Seth Telles, Enrigue A. Rubio and Juan A. Jimenez Jr.

A Holy Rosary will be held Thursday March 27, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Alaniz Funeral Home in Falfurrias, TX followed by a Mass at 11:30 at The Saint Teressa Church in Premont, TX. Burial will follow at Premont Cemetery.
