I loved and miss that dude. Being called a turkey by anyone else would be an insult. From Richard, it was high praise. If/when you ever do that Celebration of Life, I'll be there.

I remember meeting him for the first time. Mike and I had started dating only a few months before, and Richard came to Maui with his friend. I happened to be going to Maui for a jazz trip, and Richard came to multiple of our performances to see me play jazz piano. We both shared a love of jazz, and he showed me unconditional love and kindness from that day on. He even invited me and my friends over for steak and showers in between performances (since we were hot and hungry!!) He will be forever missed, but never forgotten. We all love and miss Paz.
