It's with great sadness that we announce the passing of Richard Andrade, A native of Santa Clara, CA born November 6 1941, who passed peacefully in his home on February 14, 2015. "Richie" Dedicated his life as an Army Veteran who also retired with the USPS and whom afterwards worked for the Diocese of San Jose and Lima Family Mortuaries.Richard is preceded in death by his beloved wife Denise Snider-Andrade and his parents John and Isabel Andrade. He is survived by his sister Juliann Mendes, brother in law Donald Mendes SR., nephew Donald Mendes Jr., great nieces, great nephew, multiple God Children, Cousins and beloved dog Dottie. Richard will be long remembered for his love, kindness, ethics and unrelenting devotion to God, family, the 49ers and his country. A memorial service will be observed at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, Sunday 2/22 with a private viewing from 5-7pm & Rosary from 7-9pm. A Memorial and Mass will take place at St. Clare's Church Monday 2/23 with Mass at 11am. Burial and Reception to Follow.

Richard was a very gentle soul. He loved to laugh and make jokes. He loved his dog, Dottie, and she was alot of company for him. But, most of all he made Deni very very happy. I only wish they had had more time together. He will be missed. Slainte, Rosie Malley
