Richard Baerg Obituary
81 of Phoenix, AZ went to be with the Lord on September 24th, 2013. Dick was born on February 5th, 1932 and raised in Pueblo, CO. He served in the United States Army in 1953 to 1956 and worked for Schmidt Construction in Colorado for 20 years and Lakeshore, Inc. in Phoenix for 20 years. Dick touched many lives as a husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be missed by many. Predeceased by his parents, Jacob and Georgia Ann Baerg and brother, William Baerg. Son in law, Major Gerald Cummings. Survived by his wife of 36 years, Shirley and dog, Maggie, daughter, Jacqueline (Erich Crossin), grandsons, Dakota and Dimitri Crossin, daughter, Vikki Cummings, granddaughters, Amy Cummings and Steffanie Cummings-Barslou (Greg) and many caring friends. A visitation is scheduled at West
Resthaven Funeral Home and Cemetery 6450 W Northern Ave, Glendale AZ 85301 on Saturday, September 28th, 2013 at noon with services starting at 1:30pm. Interment to follow at Resthaven Park Cemetery (Glendale). Condolences may be offered at www.westresthavenfuneralhome.com

God bless your family. They seemed like great people and my heart goes out to them all, you were a great man, and I am so glad that Bill and I visited you when we did.

Dick was one of my favorite bosses. We were close and kept in touch as much as possible in the last few years. If Dick wouldn't have given me such a wonderful recommendation to the School district I probably wouldn't have gotten the job.
We loved Dick and Shirley as if they were related.
