Brenneke, Richard 'Luck' J. 73 Dec. 05, 1941 July 23, 2015 Richard "Luck" J. Brenneke passed away July 23, 2015, at home in Milwaukie, at age 73, from complications of heart dis- ease and diabetes. Richard was the eldest son of Richard W. and M. Patricia Brenneke (both deceased). Richard was a member of the first graduating class of Jesuit High School (1960). He received his B.A. degree from Seattle University (1964) and M.A. degree from the Uni- versity of Toronto (1966). He was predeceased by a son, Johann, in 2009. He is survived by his spouse, Ann Clare; brothers, T. Barry, Stephen L. and Patrick J.; and nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at River View Cemetery Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 30, 2015, at St. Agatha Catholic Church, 1430 S.E. Nehalem St., Portland. A graveside service will follow the Mass.

Lucky was a great kid and lots of fun growing up in Milwaukie. Wish we hadn't lost touch. Mary Smoot and I had great fun giving him a hard time all in good fun.
