Richard Ladd Broderson

Richard Broderson, beloved brother, uncle, neighbor, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 10th. Richard was born on July 31st 1944 in Louisiana, eldest child of a U.S. Army Air Corps member and his wife. He graduated from high school on a U.S. military installation in Canada in 1962, served in the Navy from 1964-1968 and was a Vietnam veteran. After serving his country, he attended and graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor's degree in history. After college, he returned to North Merritt Island in the 1970s where he became a master grower. He is survived by his sister Elizabeth Broderson, nephew David Mosley, two grand nephews Sam and Oliver, his long time close friends Chuck and Eleanor Lieberman, and his "adopted" Italian American family: the Julianos and Policicchios.
