Richard Celano Obituary

Richard J. Celano died May 1, 2010, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital after a short illness, surrounded by family. Burial was at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, Iselin, N.J., on Monday, May 3, 2010. Richard was raised in Bloomfield, N.J., and lived in Woodbridge, N.J., and in Metuchen, N.J., for the past 30 years. He was an art director and production manager in various agencies in New Jersey and New York and had previously owned and operated Old Queens Gallery in New Brunswick, N.J. He was the beloved husband of Janet Brindell and father to Richard, Lisa, Benjamin, Jessica, Sara and Elana Celano. In addition, he leaves granddaughter Gianna, sister Antonia Celano; sister-in-law, Linda Celano; brother-in-law Allan Brindell and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Anthony; mother, Julia, and brothers, Anthony and Gaetano.
