Richard Collins Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Nov. 15, 2024.
Richard Alan Collins "Rick", 66 residing in Dunedin Florida passed away at home November 4th of 2024. He is originally from New York City and spent significant time residing in Brooklyn, Staten Island and Glens Falls. He is preceded in death by his Mother Carol, Brother Johnny and Son Ricky. He is survived by his two daughters Jennifer and Samantha, Granddaughter KJ, Sister Donna, Father John and numerous cousins- Debbie, Darlene , Joseph, Robbie and his cat Tommy Boy.

He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed rooting for the Miami Dolphins, NY Mets and various other NY teams. He spent many years working for Pepsi Cola and was retired at the time of his death. He enjoyed spending time in his community with his many friends, going for walks and swimming. He was very proud of his children and granddaughter and being a "Pop-Pop."

One of the nicest people you could ever meet, and would give the shirt off his back to help someone else. Life wasn't always the easiest for him. He went through many tough times, but always found a way to smile and look on the bright side. Known as a "jokester" to many, he definitely lit up a room and would want everyone to try and think of good time, or a good joke, when being remembered.

Services for Rick will be arranged privately with the family, in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in his name to St Judes. To leave regards for the family, please visit ALifeTribute.com
