COVER – Richard Lee "Rick," 46, Windber, died May 6, 2010, at Windber Hospice, after a valiant battle with cancer. Born May 7, 1963, in Johnstown, son of James Jr. and Barbara (Bungard) Cover. Survived by grandmother, Pauline Cover; stepgrandfather, Fred Furst; parents, Windber; daughter, Olivia Rose Cover; brother, James III, married to the former Maryann Lucas, Windber; sister, Ellen, wife of Joseph Onderko Jr., Maryland; loving companion and caregiver, Kellie Jo Cover; and loyal pets, Jack and Ben. Also survived by nieces and nephews, as well as a multitude of friends. Co-owner and dealer operator of Cover Chevrolet. Rick was a loving son, a devoted father who adored his daughter, Olivia, and an avid motorcycle rider who enjoyed Sturgis and Daytona Bike Week. Friends received from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, the Rev. David C. McGee, officiating. Interment, Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Family suggests, for those who wish to contribute to Windber Hospice, 600 Somerset Ave., Windber, Pa. 15963, in memory of Rick Cover.
