passed away peacefully on Friday, March 7, 2025 at the age of 92. Richard was born in Iron Mountain, MI on March 21, 1932 the son of the late Arthur J. and Ann M. (nee Paradiso) Carr. Dick entered the United States Navy at the age of 17, serving during the Korean War and continued to serve his country and community throughout his non-military career. Dick enjoyed playing golf with his Easy Eagles Group, fishing, walking in the woods, slot machines, playing cards with friends, volunteering his time to assist anyone who asked and enjoyed time spent with family and friends at their summer cabin.

Dick is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Mary; Children: Cindy (Bob) Johnson, Susan (Peter) Konz and Michael (Becki) Carr; sister Joann (Barry) Smeester Hartman; five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.

Private family services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Stars and Stripes Honor Flight Wisconsin.
