Richard Albert "Dick" Dischert passed peacefully on Friday December 4, 2020 surrounded by loving family. He was 79 years old. Richard was the son of Alberta and Joel Dischert. He was a lifelong resident of Aldan, where he raised his family and ran his Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning business. He was an avid hunter and pilot throughout his life. He enjoyed spending time with his family, going to the mountains, annual fishing trips with the grandchildren, and entertaining everyone with his Lionel trains during the holidays. Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ellen Dischert (nee Kinder), his infant son Richard A. Dischert, Jr. and his sister, Joanne McCombs of Brookhaven. Richard was the loving and generous Father of six children: Darlene E. Klingerman (George), Mary Beth Attwood (Roger), James J. Dischert (Gina), Wayne S. Dischert (Kim) and Sharlee A. Edinger (Albert). He was the Grandfather of 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Services will be private due to covid-19 restrictions. The Service will be live streamed, those wishing to watch can click this link https://www.facebook.com/cavanaghfuneralcrematory/ Friends are invited to gather for the graveside service Wednesday, December 9, 2020 (expected arrival time 12:15-12:30 PM) at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, 352 S. Gulph Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406. Mask required.

I am very sad to hear of Dicks passing, he was a truly nice person. I remember admiring his stuffed blue jay in his room when I was a boy and his visits to my grandfather Ira's house in the poconos.
