Richard Dunaway Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Mar. 8 to Mar. 9, 2023.
Michael Dunaway, 50, passed away on March 3, 2023 after a year's battle with colorectal cancer, surrounded by family at his mother's home. He was currently living in Riverview with his spouse and children.

He is survived by his loving wife, Holly; children Bri, Liam and McKenna; his parents, Jerralynne Duncan (Jim Epps), Richard Dunaway (Gwen) and sister, Lara Dunaway.

Michael worked for Hillsborough County for 19 years. His co-workers were his buddies and family. They supported him and his family in every way. No doubt they will miss his wit and big smile, though they will joke about what a pain he could sometimes be.

He was loved by his family and other good friends. Besides his wife, children, three cats and one dog, he loved grilling, fishing and archery.

There will be a Celebration of Life, date and place to be determined.

I am so sorry to learn of Michael's passing. I fondly remember him as a child when I would spend my Summers visiting my father. We sure could get into some trouble together! May his memory be eternal.
