We just learned of Dickie's passing. We are so sorry to hear about this. He was a wonderful man! He was the Betsy man at our wedding. We often mentioned the day we went out on the boat with him. Our daughter was only a few months old. We strapped her into her little car seat, put her in the bait box and fished for the day! What memories!

Our deepest expression of sympathy for Terry, Cindy and families. Gene and I were privileged to know Peggy and Richard for over 40 years. We visited them each summer on their beloved island, Chebeague, and so enjoyed this time with them. Richard was a special person. He had an infectious smile and warm heart and enjoyed sharing "his island" with us. Gene and Richard loved to fish and spent many days each summer doing that together. We had many wonderful lobster dinners together as Richard caught and cooked lobsters for us. I could go on and on as we have such wonderful memories and a very special place for Richard in our hearts. We will miss him so much.

I was honored to meet Mr Dyer through his daughter, Cindy. She talked a great deal about him and I feel I knew him very well. He was quite the character with a warm personality and easy to talk to. He left behind a beautiful family whom I have gotten very close to since having Cindy as a dear friend. My condolences and prayers go out to Mr. Dyer's family and friends. May God bless each of you and hold you close during this difficult time.

We were very fortunate to have met Richard and Peggy many years ago on a trip up to the island. We have visited every year since and thoroughly enjoyed our time spent with them both. The last few years without Peggy were still fun, but we missed her. We have enjoyed visiting with Richard just a few weeks ago. He was putting up speed limit signs on his road the last time we saw him. We will miss the wicked good times we always had. Our condolences go out the whole family. I was priviledged to know Dick and Peggy as their physical therapist. They were both wonderful people and will be dearly missed. One of my fondest memories was making sure he could get to his lobster boat safely. So, he brought me out in his dinghy with a hole the size of a half dollar in it! He said that it had been there longer than I was alive and it hadn't sunk yet! We made it to his lobster boat and did it safely! I had never been on a lobster boat and thoroughly enjoyed the ride around Chebeque. My condolenses to his family. Lisa StPierre (Yarmouth, ME)

I was priviledged to know Dick for a few years, not nearly enough. He welcomed me to Chebeague with his wonderful smile. I loved sitting with him and listening to him tell stories and especially stories about his beloved wife that he lost a few years ago. There was just something about him that made people want to be around him. My heart goes out to his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
