Richard J. Ehret, 74, of Hellertown, died on Thursday, August 4, 2016. He was born in Bethlehem, son of the late, George H. Ehret, Sr. and Anna (Donchez) Ehret. He was the loving husband to Marion (Fistner) Ehret. They were married 54 years. Richard worked for Bethlehem Steel for 32 years retiring in 1996. Survivors: He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Marion; son, Richard J. Ehret, Jr. and wife, Susan; daughter, Tracy Jones; brother, George Ehret, Jr. and wife, Rita; granddaughter, Ashley Wotring and husband, Michael; great-grandchildren, Shyann and Kahlan; and several nieces and nephews. Services: A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 8, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem. Visitation will be Sunday, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow services at Union Cemetery in Hellertown. Contributions: may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3893 Adler Place, Bethlehem, PA 18017. Online condolences may be shared at www.connellfuneral.com.
