It is with great regret that I have learned of Richard's passing.
I was a neighbor of his (and his Mother and Father), living accross the street at 1520. I took Richard to the doctor many times when rides were not available or running late. I also became very close to his aunt before her passing.
With sadness, I lost track of Richard during my divorce as I was told he had passed on when his number was no longer valid. Had I known, I would have surely been to see him.
We knew many people in common as I spent 10 years with Co-op Markets in Palo Alto as I went to school, etc. We always joked about the characters we knew of which some preceded him in death.
John, please know how sorry I am to hear this. If you read this, please call me at any time. I would really like to hear from you.
