Mark and I, and our daughters Tess and Michelle, all loved spending time with Mr. Ferketic when he came to visit Jeff and Jane on Federal Street. We are sorry that we couldn't get to Pittsburgh for the services and get a chance to meet more of Jeff's extended family. Peace be with all of you as you go through this tough time. Sincerely,

The Ferketic Family,
I will forever remember your dad at the Etna ball field cheering for all the kids, not just his own. He had a special nickname or joke for each one and they all adored him. He was a wonderful man whose family and faith meant the world to him. He never even got angry when Rich attended Sunday mass in my living room with my brother, Harry, and Peter Puck!
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Fondly,

I never had the opportunity to meet Mr. Ferketic, however I had the pleasure of hearing about him through Michelle's loving stories. In this sad time, my prayer is that each tear leads to a beautiful memory that makes your very soul smile! May you find peace in the Comforter.

Dear Michelle,

From what you told me of your dad, I know he was a man of great character, humor, and commitment to family.

As time goes by, I trust you will increasingly find comfort, and joy, in the memories of good times you shared, in the legacy of his love and devotion.

To the Ferketic Family --
My husband Bob and I send our deepest sympathies to all of you. Rich's brother Bob is my uncle through marriage to Helen Gronkoski Ferketic (my mother Marie Gronkoski Curcio's sister). Way back when I first met Uncle Bob, and to the present, I have not only always heard wonderful reflections about Rich and the good relationship they had as brothers, but at weddings we have been fortunate enough to meet and talk with him. An admirable man, he will always be remembered.
