I first met Dick in 1977 when I became the purchasing manager at Acco Chain. Dick was not only a real gentlemen, but a skilled machinist. He was one of best in his trade. He was a problem solver. My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and children. May he rest in peace.

Do you ever hear much about an employer who treats his employees like family, who takes them to his cabin, who rides dirt bikes on pipe lines with the guys, who takes the time to pass on his brilliant knowledge and gift of tool and die making and the machinist trade? Well, Richard Fink was such an employer, a wonderful man respected by many, who leaves a mark on those of us who worked for him at R H Fink, Inc.

He was a close Christian brother. We worked
together in business. We also vacationed together
and went hunting, bowled, rode dirt bikes, snow-
mobiled together and prayed together. We had
a great friendship. "The Best is yet to be".
