FISKE, Richard F.

Age 79 of Elmira, NY. He was born July 22, 1932 in Sayre, PA, son of the late Alpheus and Doris (Steinmetz) Fiske and passed away Monday, March 12, 2012 at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was predeceased by his sons Rick and Daniel Fiske and brother John Fiske. He is survived by his life partner of 45 years, Amelia Caporiccio of Elmira; sons Clarke and Jeff Fiske both of Sayre, PA; daughters Anna Scow, Nancy Cook and Bonnie Flandro all of UT; daughter-in-law Sandy Fiske of Waverly, NY; Amelia's children John (Nettie) and Joseph Caporiccio both of Elmira, Jason of Syracuse, NY, James of Middletown, NY, Judd Caporiccio of PA and Julie Beechey of VA ; brothers Charles and Robert along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Richard was employed with American and Ward LaFrance; was past president of their union; retired from Zurenda Enterprises; was a U.S. Army veteran serving during Korea and was an avid NY Yankee fan. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Sunday, March 18th from 2 to 6 pm, Prayers will be offered there on Monday, March 19th at 9:30 am, followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Ss. Peter & Paul Church. Rev. Richard Farrell, Celebrant. Committal prayers and interment will follow in St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery.
