Richard Garcia Obituary
Richard Garcia, our Ricky was taken from us, to sing in heavens choir on October 5th 2017.
He is now rockin’ the heavens with his guitar in hand, when the thunder roars we'll know that's his band. He's singing a beautiful song that even touches the angel's heart's, the kind of song that makes you want to fall apart. His song brings you tears of joy and makes you cry, that's our sweet Ricky's lullaby. Our sweet little boy, we miss you more than words can say, and await your sweet song heard from the birds that fly our way. You are loved so much more than these words can say, and you can see that each and every day.
A visitation for Ricky will be held Friday, October 13, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Laurel Land Funeral Home, Fort Worth, Texas. A graveside service will occur Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Laurel Land Memorial Park, Fort Worth, Texas.

I know this is late...but I remember talking to Richard 2 weeks before he passed...i always saw him in the halls smiling and I always wondered what made him smile so much...my friend introduced him to me and I remember us talking to him about God and the books of the bible...i told him to start off with the gospels and to continue from there...after that day I always smiled at him and waved at him in the hall way...when i heard he passed my heart dropped...i was so sad...even though I only talked to him for a little while I remember him every day since...he will forever remain in my memories.

It is your Auntie Melissa, I am so sad, never felt more heart broken in my life as I know we will not see nor hear you on earth, we have to hold on to those presious moments you left in our hearts! Dear Richard, you were the nicest boy and the most caring boy that i had ever met. Every encounter with you always left me with a smile because you always seemed so happy-go-lucky. Hi, I personally didn't know your son, but i knew him enough to know that he was a great person. I met Richard when i was a freshman at NCHS. He was in choir and i heard him sing, and he was amazing and wonderful. The first memory to come to mind is him during the music madness last year, when he sang mister cellophane and seize the day. He performed both wonderfully. I know that this is hard for you, but i want you to know that we are here, we understand your pain and please know HIS MEMORY WILL be kept in my heart and memory, he will be missed dearly by all who loved him. His kindness and heart will live on forever more

The hardest part about losing you will be learning to live without you. Choir will never be the same without you. I still remember the first day I met you, you were auditioning with Goins to see which choir you will be in. Jessica and I had our ears pressed up against the door and our jaws were droppwe din awe of your voice. We all love you so much and we will mis syou forever.
