Richard Gramley Obituary
Rich was a dedicated individual who served as a patrolman for the Voorhees Township Police Department in New Jersey for 15 yrs. He was Chief of Kresson Fire Department and also served as the Civil Defense Director. He later worked as the Chief Engineer at the Princess Martha in St. Petersburg, Florida.
He attended Holy Cross High School, Delran, NJ and was a faithful member of St. Catherine of Siena, Clearwater, FL.
In his free time, Rich enjoyed fishing, and he was good with his hands, repairing all sorts of things.
Rich is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Betty, and their blended family of seven children: Richard Jr. (Carol), Dawn (Mark) Zaremba, Stephanie (Troy) Flagg, C. Jamison, Steven Wolcott, Glenn (Christine) Wolcott, Kimberly (Robert) Vance. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, three sisters, and one brother.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard C. and Jane Gramley, maternal grandparents William and Catherine Laisie, a sister Roxanne, and two brothers, William and Gerald.
A mass will be held on April 22nd at 3:30 at St. Catherine of Siena in Clearwater.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Rich's honor to Suncoast Hospice.

I knew Rich in 1977 when I was a dispatcher, special officer and EMT in Voorhees. Rich was always available to lend a hand to anyone. He was a dedicated police officer. I certainly will miss him and my condolences to the family and friends.

I met him through his daughter Stephanie. I was 19 and she was 16. He and Betty were so nice to me that I felt like family. I'm so sadden by his passing. He was a great man.

I met Rich via his son, I won't say much because it is encompassed in the words I AM THE LUCKY ONE to have met such a wonderful man and to live with a piece of his legacy
