To my extended family:
I am sorry we cannot be there to help comfort you. I know there is comfort in the Lord and you are always in our prayers and especially now. I will always remember Richard (Mr. Handorf to us), as a strong and inquisitive man. He would ask us Canadian political questions that I had no idea how to answer.
Our prayers are with you all.

I remember Richard when he was my Home Health Physical Therapy patient a few years ago when I lived in Palestine. No matter how bad he felt, he would always try to get up and exercise for me. God has taken your suffering away now, Richard, and I will never forget you.

Dear June and Family,
I was so saddened when Ann Fenton Myers let me know of Richard's passing. I admired the both of you. My prayers are with you.

Richard was the most honest person I have ever had the honor to know and I considered him a friend. He served his GOD, his Country, his State, his County and all people with fairness to all. But his family was always number one in his life. GOD has Richard's soul and now may GOD comfort his family.
