RICHARD HAUFF ONLINE OBIT Richard A. Hauff, 80, lifelong resident of Vermilion died December 5, 2016 after a short illness. Born on leap day, February 29, 1936 in Lorain. Richard was a loving family man. Husband, father and grandfather, his greatest legacy is the family left to cherish the memories of a life well lived, a life he lived on his own terms. Although he will be missed dearly, his children take solace that he has finally reunited with the love of his life, Hazel Mae. He was preceded-in-death by his wife He was preceded-in-death by his wife Hazel (nee Policy), Hauff (nee Policy), parents, Albert and Ruth Hauff, son, Tom Hauff, and granddaughter, Vada. He is survived by children Cindy (Keith), Jeff (Annie) and Susan (Gale), granddaughter, Danielle, brother Fritz (Carol), his beloved fur kids, as well as many nieces and nephews. The family welcomes donations to http://www.deedeesfelines.com/donate, Fremont, Ohio. Friends may call on Friday, December 9, 2016 from 5-7 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion. Closing prayers will be said on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will private. Online condolences may be made at www.riddlefuneralhome.com.
