Richard Lee Herrera, 66, of Payson, Arizona, passed away on April 10, 2024. He was born on November 24, 1957, in Durango, Colorado. Richard was a member of Operating Engineers Local 302 for 48 years and the owner of H&H Paving. He was a hardworking man and cherished his family above all else.

Richard's hobbies included hunting, horseback riding, restoring old vehicles, gardening, and spending quality time with his loved ones. He was known for his long courageous fight with cancer and dedication to his work and family. Richard will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Heather, and children Tyler, Levi (Allesha), Cole, and Mackenzie (Joe) Morgan. Richard was a loving grandfather to Madisyn, Trystan, Cooper, Carsyn, Levi, Mason, Jasper, and Truitt. He is also survived by his parents, Levi and Roselee Herrera, and siblings Raymond, Randy Herrera, and Cherry Nottingham.

A service to honor and celebrate Richard's life will be held on May 4th, 2024, at 10:00 am at Mountain Bible Church, 302 E. Rancho Rd, Payson, AZ.

Richard Lee Herrera will be remembered for his strong work ethic, love for his family, and passion for the outdoors. May he rest in peace.
