Though we lost contact I will always cherish the memories of our friendship in Nanaimo. I always missed him and his love of music. Thinking of you too Dana.

My sincere and heartfelt condolences to the Hobbs family. I worked with Richard for a few short months but he was always a gentleman, very helpful and so kind. He spoke so fondly of his daughters and grandchildren, and even sent some photos, it was clear he was fiercely proud. What a profound loss, sending thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time.

What a profound loss. I especially remember Rick's kindness, gentleness and love of his children, Dana and his family. My deepest condolences go out to his children, grandchildren, his family and his friends. He will be greatly missed!

Rick was great guy and we had a chance work with him when we were signing the lease of our flower shop. We remember how he was so proud about his loving family at his office during the meeting. He will be definitely missed by people at Montreux building.
