Richard Jeffries Obituary

Richard L. Jeffries, 86, of 4500 Oakhurst Blvd., #106, died Monday, September 30, 2002 at his residence.

He was a self-employed License Broker; was a Navy Veteran serving in World War II; was a member of the Colonial Park United Methodist Church; the Harrisburg Lodge #629; The Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Forest #43; and was a 55 year member of the American Legion, Post #27.

He was the son of the late Christopher and Jennie Jeffries.

Surviving are his wife, Jeanette R. Jeffries; a son, Dr. Richard H. Jeffries of Harrisburg; a daughter, Diane E. Hensel of Alexandria, VA; a granddaughter, Christine Triantos of Holden, MA; two grandsons, Richard M. Hensel of Prague, Czechoslovakia and Dr. Richard S. Jeffries of Harrisburg; and two great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, October 4, 2002 at 11 a.m., at Colonial Park United Methodist Church, with Rev. Paul A. Lauchle officiating. Burial in BlueRidge Memorial Gardens, Lower Paxton Twp. There will be no viewing or visitation.

Arrangements by the Jesse H. Geigle Funeral Home, Inc., Susquehanna Twp.

Memorial contributions may be made to Colonial Park United Methodist Church, 430 Colonial Road, Harrisburg, PA 17109.
