Richard A. Lally, of Cumberland, passed into eternal life on September 17, 2022. He was the loving husband of Ann-Marie (Boyd) Lally.
Mr. Lally was born in North Kingstown, RI, the son of Marguerite (Perron) Lally and the late David Lally. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Marine Corp, serving during the Vietnam era.
Besides his wife and mother, Richard is survived by his children, Patricia Janelle and her spouse Michael of Florida, Richard Lally and his spouse Ruby McGuirk of Woonsocket, Jocelyn Coia and her spouse Steven of Cumberland, Jennifer Mooney and her spouse Krystal of Cumberland, Joshua Mooney and his spouse Chelsea of Johnston, and his youngest Jordan Michael Lally. He also leaves his brothers, Steven Lally, Robert Lally and Michael Lally. Richard had nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Joanne Lally and Joyce Lally.
Richard loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. He enjoyed cooking chili for holiday parties and football Sundays where he loyally cheered on his beloved Patriots. You could always find him smiling while spending time with some of his chosen family down at the Filibuster Club of Cumberland. He found so much joy in playing cards, camping, and sitting around the fire with those he loved.
The funeral and burial will be private.
There will be a celebration of his life on Friday, September 23rd from 2:00 PM until 7:00PM in the Filibuster Club, 23 High Street, Cumberland to which relatives and friends are invited.

My heart goes out to Aunt Ann and her family. Uncle Richard you will be forever missed and never Forgotten. I will miss you so very much I have so many memories of fun times talking football and you still always saying that I wasn't your nephew because I wasn't a Patriot fan. Many memories and some sad and some good memorial day Cook out and chill lol still some of the hottest to have ever tasted. Love David, Cindy and Ethan. We will miss you.
