Richard Oscar Lattier, 55, went to be with his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ on Friday, May 17, 2013. Richard's desire was to live a life that always glorified God. He was a member of Colonial Baptist Church in Cary and was employed by Tipper Tie, Inc. in Apex for 32 years. He was always the comedian who loved to put a smile on the face of his family and friends. Richard was preceded in death by his mother Annie Louise Lattier. He Is survived by his wife of 35 years, Jan Permenter Lattier; his sons Joshua Lattier and wife Ashley and Jason Lattier and fiancée Kimberly; his father, Oscar Lattier; brother, Ronald Lattier and wife Adina and many extended family members. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday at Colonial Baptist Church. Entombment will follow at Montlawn Memorial park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at Montlawn Funeral Home from 3-5 pm Sunday. Memorials may be made to Colonial Baptist Church, Missions Fund, 6051 Tryon Road, Cary, NC 27518. Arrangements are by Montlawn Funeral Home, 2911 S. Wilmington St., Raleigh, N.C. Condolences may be made to www.montlawn.com
