Richard and I were both members of the Class of '65 Washington High School. Although I don't think we knew each other back then I want to express my deepest condolences to his family. I was profoundly moved by the video. It shows what a good man he was. Rest in peace, Richard.

I had the privilege of working with Richard at KCK City hall. His work ethic was strong-almost as strong as his hunting ethic. Really enjoyed the bambi sausage. He will be missed. Lyle "Buzz" Fisher

Such a sad time for all who knew Richard and loved him. Ron and I have a lot of good memories back in the day when they were wild and crazy. They were like 2 peas in a pod....hunting and having a good time. Those were the good old days. Richard will be missed dearly. Our love and condolences go out to his family.

Thanks dad for teaching me to be strong, the value of hard work and doing your best. I'll miss our talks, watching races and rides on the pontoon. I'll hold onto our memories and continue to strive to make you proud. Glad you found some peace. Love your punkin, Kelley.
