Lost touch with him after high school. Richard was always a great guy to be around. Glad he's free from his demons. Rest in peace brother.

Ricky, Dominic, Adam and myself were housemates in San Rafael on Park St. up until 2019, but we were friends before that. I first met him in 2014 when we were living the wild life and we all came thru adversity and became better people.
Ricky was smart, funny, witty, resourceful and a great guy.
I'm stunned at his passing and he will be greatly missed.
See you on the other side my friend...

Rest in Peace my dear friend! I am going to miss you but I know you are one of God's Earth Angel's now! I have 40 years of fond memories of you and I and our quirky fun solid friendship starting at Redwood High of you there for me and I there for you. When I found out you passed I refused to believe it, and went about my day in denial, but slowly as I moved around my house grieving deeply for you I realized you are in a better place... and there is no need to grieve you but to hold you close as the friend you are to me and always have been and always will be. I will celebrate our goofy memories are good memories and all our long talks together. I keep seeing the shine your eyes always get when you smile as if you were standing right here. So farewell for now my sweet friend I will see you again I promise! Thank you for being my loyal friend and allowing me to be yours! Shine on Rick! I will carry our friendship in my heart till we see each other again. God Bless you and your Family!

I've known Ricky almost 25 years. I've seen his pains and struggles, but I've been fortunate to see his authentic heart
It seems that God gives us the right amount of time to change our course for the better before he calls us home ..... Let's focus on loving one another in Ricky's honor
