Richard Lee Lunsford passed away on December 25, 2018. Rick is survived by his wife, Sheryl Lunsford; his sons Richard and Johnathan, their wives and his five grandchildren he so dearly loved. A celebration of Rick's life will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019, at 3:30 PM at Pierpont Bay Yacht Club in Ventura, where he was a Staff Commodore.

I love you Dad, you were my best friend I could talk to you about anything and you never judged me. I could ask you any question in the world and you would always have the answer. You could just about build or fix anything. My only regret is that I didn't listen to you when I was growing up. I wish I could be just like you but it's too late and now you're gone. I miss you so much, you were the best roll model a son could ever have. I'll never stop talking about you and I'll make sure you're memory never fades away. I would give anything in the world for just one more day with you. You are and always will be my hero... I'm gonna make you proud. I can't wait for the day we meet again.
