Although I just found his obituary when searching for his sister, Dina, I remember him as always being kind and generous with his ability to make others comfortable. His sense of humor is trumped by his warm smile and caring nature. So sorry for his family's loss.

As a long-time friend of the Marchesi family, I was heart broken to learn of Ricks illness and now his passing at such a young age. He was such a cute little brother to Rudy, my best friend (we met in kindergarten), and who I watched grow up to become a very successful businessman. I last saw him at his beautiful home in Mahwah that he built from timber and stone from their property, an architectural masterpiece. I met his lovely wife Meredith and their young daughter, only months old. Life seemed so good and they seemed so happy.

Thats how I will remember him, along with memories of the many wonderful hours I spent in the Marchesi home with Rudy, Darlene, Gayle, Ricky and Dina as we all grew up together on Mahwah Road in Mahwah New Jersey. My love to you all and my deepest condolences to the entire family, especially Meredith and her children.

My childhood was shaped around my neighbors in rural Mahwah. We owned the water tower , the hill and devils path. We had freak shows and carnivals, Winters pond, Lions club. We fished and hunted the Ramapo river. We camped and caught frogs at Mc Milan's reservoir. We grew up in paradise. You know his smile, he's still in paradise. Miss you, love you, Mark G.

My prayers are with Meredith, Morgan and Rudy. Rick was a wonderful Father, husband and friend. Whether we saw him at sports or making pizza at the house, he always made you feel like family. The Marchesi Family were our first friends when we moved to Mahwah and I am so grateful for all of the memories we have and the bond our boys share. Rick always treated my son like his own, whether it was a ride to practice or swimming at their house. He was such a great person. He was a friend to everyone he met and he made it a point to know your name. He cared about people, he helped others and was just a kind hearted man. Heaven gained an angel. I feel blessed to have known Rick. We love you Meredith, Morgan & Rudy.

It breaks my heart hearing the news. I will always cherish Ricks sense of humour and kind spirit. Many fond memories
growing up in Mahwah a block away from the Marchesi's. My sincere condolences to Meredith and family. I will always be grateful for Ricks kindness .

February 6, 2020

I do not have many friends, fewer good friends; and even fewer life-long friends. Ricky was all three. I feel blessed to have had as many great times with Ricky over the past 55 years. He was a devoted husband to Meredith. His children, Morgan and Rudy, were his entire life. I will miss Ricky. There will always be a void. The disgusting disease that took Ricky will never be able to take all of the great memories we shared.

My sincere condolences to the entire Marchesi family. I met Ricky in 1971 with his group of friends. And what a GROUP. I will ALWAYS remember all of the things that went on. What a time it was. But I can honestly say the one constant that lasted the 49 years I knew Ricky was the FACT that he was the NICEST and HAPPY GO LUCKY guy I ever met. He was the SWEETEST person EVERY time I ran into him. Ricky; I will miss that smile and happy greeting you were known for. You did GOOD. GODSPEED, REST in PEACE. GOD BLESS the entire Marchesi family. My prayers are with you.
