Richard Dean McIntosh passed away on May 22, 2016 at the age of 58 years old in Los Alamitos Medical Center.

Born: September 24, 1957 @ 5:43PM @ Long Beach Osteo Hospital.

Attended and graduated from the following Long Beach schools: Helen Keller Elementary, Cecille B. DeMille Junior High, and Robert A. Millikan High in 1976.

Played basketball on the Freshman Reserve Basketball team at Millikan H.S. and football as a Millikan Rebels in 9th grade.

Was active in sports though the Long Beach Parks & Recreation Department, Plaza Little League, and the church league in the following sports: basketball, softball, baseball, football and volleyball. Other activities: Cub and Boy Scouts of America.

Favorite college teams: Long Beach State Women's Volleyball and the USC football.

Favorite professional sport teams: Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Angels, Los Angeles Lakers, San Francisco 49ers, and the Los Angeles Rams.

Was a member of the North Long Beach Christian Church and served as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, and received the Man of the Year Award. Later attended Bixby Knolls Church in Long Beach.

Favorite places to travel: Lake Tahoe, Big Bear, Las Vegas and Hawaii. Last vacation was with his father to the Hawaii islands of Kawaii and Maui.

Was married to Pamela Ingram for seven years.

Survived by: Father, Richard Lee McIntosh and Patricia Sue McIntosh (nee Casey) deceased on April 23, 2012. Older sister: Lori Lee Pistey and her husband, Wayne Robert Pistey and their children; Matthew Wayne Pistey and Allison Nicole Pistey. Younger brother, David Paul McIntosh and his wife Cyndi McIntosh (nee Lowe), and their children, Corey, Kyle and wife Tara and their child, Valor; Breanna, Megan, Daniel, Cammie, Sadie, Manny, and Benjamin. Aunts, Uncles, and cousins in following states: Arizona, California, Iowa, Nevada, Oklahoma, and Utah.

Preceded in death by: his mother, Patricia Sue McIntosh, William Joseph McIntosh, and Julie Ann Hudson, and her son Jason.

Memorial services are to be held at:
Rose Hills Memorial Park 3888 Workman Mill Road, Whittier, CA. 90601.
Viewing: Friday, June 3, 2016 from 5:30 to 8:30pm in the Visitation Center.
Funeral: Saturday, June 4, 2016 @1:00pm @ the Hillside Chapel located @ gate 17.
